History of WJA:
WJA was started over 20 years ago for the soul purpose of
promoting women in the jewelry industry. We have come a long way, but
have a long way to go. One of our current initiatives is developing a
list of qualified women in the industry for association board positions.
This will help when associations such as JIC, AGS, JBT, JA are looking to fill
board positions with qualified people – they can turn to WJA to help them with
their decision making process.

What do I get from networking?
New customers, new
vendors/suppliers, new jobs, advice, friendships, involvement in the
organization and the industry.
How much is membership?
The regular membership price for new members is
$160 for the first year of membership. WJA members seeking to renew will pay $135. The Student rate is $105. Call for details or submit a membership application online. Click here for detailed rates.
How do I get involved in the organization?
At the chapter level you can volunteer
for a committee or to help organize an event. Board positions come up
every 2 years and we are always looking for good people to serve on the chapter
boards.
On a national
level, we are always looking for volunteers for events, silent auction
coordination, directory, website, communications, trade show – there are many opportunities
to participate.
