Continuing education is an important aspect of empowering members to reach their highest goals in the international jewelry, watch and related industries. WJA recognizes the importance of professional education for those already in the industry – YOU.
You may qualify for one of a limited number of grants with a value of up to $500. Grants can be applied to classes and/or materials that include industry related studies, as well as financial, business, marketing and other courses that contribute to making us better employees, managers, and business owners in this industry.
This is a wonderful opportunity for any member who is a current, paid-in-full Active WJA member. You are encouraged to take advantage of this member benefit that is made available by generou contributions from sponsors and WJA chapters around the country.
Scholarships
To empower both its female members and students
in the jewelry, watch and related industries, the Women's Jewelry
Association offers two types of educational financial aid, student
scholarship and member grants. For scholarship information, please click here.
Money for the member grant and scholarship programs is raised from the proceeds of a silent auction held during the WJA's Awards for Excellence
celebration as well as from generous contributions from companies and
individuals who support WJA's mission. Several chapters around the
country add to the member grant fund as a result of their own local
fundraising efforts so that more of their members can benefit from an
educational grant.
