Women’s Jewelry Association announces Jan. 15, 2010 deadline for grant applications

December 2009 – The Women’s Jewelry Association invites members to apply for its Grants Program, which offers grants up to $500 for jewelry industry studies, as well as financial, business, marketing and other courses that contribute to making members better employees, managers, and business owners in this industry. Earlier this year, WJA awarded $14,000 in grants to 28 members across the country.

Jayne Schultz, WJA member grants chair, remarked, “WJA recognizes the importance of professional education for those already in the industry. Education is an investment that never loses its value.”
To apply, WJA members should complete the grant application found on the Scholarship page of the association’s web site, www.womensjewelryassociation.com. Applications are due on or before January 15, 2010.
