Membership in the Women's Jewelry Association, (WJA) is the key that opens the door to endless opportunities. As a member of WJA, you will be connected to world leaders of the jewelry industry.
Other Member Benefits Include:
Networking Opportunities –
Membership in the WJA allows you endless networking opportunities at National events such as the Awards for Excellence Dinner, DIVA, Women in the Know (WITK) conferences as well as local chapter events including educational seminars, social events, and celebratory award gatherings.
Scholarship –
WJA provides scholarships to deserving women students preparing for careers in the fine jewelry, watch and other related industries.
Member Grants –
Continuing education is an important aspect of empowering members to reach their highest goals in the industry. WJA provides funds to members seeking additional knowledge and training in their chosen careers. WJA allows individuals or companies to create a Grant in their name, in $500 increments, to be awarded to a deserving member.
Education –
WJA presents several annual meetings both on the national level and chapter level to learn about the industry, ranging from information-packed full-day conferences to informal gatherings with guest speakers.
Women in the Know Conference –
Produced by the WJA as many as three times a year, WITK is a full-day conference that provides a remarkable opportunity to gain the practical information needed to compete in today’s fast-paced marketplace. Industry leaders explain the ins and outs of topics like economics, leadership, networking, insurance, relationship building and much more.
Mentorship –
Provides both a formal and informal way for women to learn from those who have already achieved success. The more involved you become, the more opportunities present themselves to learn from each other and become better leaders.
WJA Website –
Access to WJA’s digital hub which provides ongoing news and events within our organization including:
Online Discussions –
Gives members the opportunity to ask questions and receive informative responses about business related topics.
Webinars –
Provide education to those who don’t have time to travel to a meeting and connects members located all over the world.
E-newsletter –
Provides information on WJA events, programs, awards, as well as other association news.
National Annual Meeting –
An annual meeting where the organization’s leaders review the plans that have been successful from the past year and outline goals for the upcoming year.
